A big of history: Back in the days people fished the original ‘Buzzing Frog’ made by Rebel with great success from Reindeer lake in Canada to big and small waters in the Netherlands, Sweden and Ireland. When the quality went down, Arjan Willemsen decided to make them himself. About 20 years ago Arjan made his first ‘Buzzing Frogs’ and sold these for many years.
Only recently, with the help of a 3D printed model, he made a bigger version you see here!
The new ‘Buzzing Frog’ measures 11 cm, body and spinning tail together, and as the original is best fished with rips, pulls and pauzes like a frog crosses the water!
Single treble to be added at the back and as the pikes absolutely engulf this ‘Buzzing Frog’, the one treble at the back is more then sufficient and highly effective for hooking the big frog-eaters.

Arjan Willemsen has been an influence in lurebuilding and pikefishing for centuries. Known as the creator of the first lures in hard plastic and an inspiration for lurebuilders and fisherman across countries. Some of his designs have been copied many times over and up to today his creations still catch fish everywhere they are in the water.
