Description

‘Big Onion’ by Full Moon Baits (B)

Type wood: Various

Length 14 cm, body height 6 cm, weight +/- 115gram depending on type of wood.

Type jerkbait/swimbait. Specifically selected wood and extreme high end finish by the builder.

Full body wooden jerkbait/swimbait! The Big Onion is one of the most successful creations by Full Moon Baits and a favorite in many anglers tacklebox. The Big Onion has a highly effective attraction and movement just fished with the reel slowly and the necessary stops. Nice gliding S-action with flanking but if you like you can give it short taps, pulls and twitches. You can even troll it. The Big Onion is so versatile that you can actually never fish it wrong!

Thanks to the big and high profile this lure pushes loads of water and this is still the best trigger for all pike. It is all about the action of the lure, just like with any bait and the deep philosophy behind all FMB creations!

Most suitable for fishing over 1-5 m of water but make sure you try the big Onion over the deeper and open water too. With 5-7g fastach lead attached before the leader you can bring it slightly deeper. Every angler that has fished the Big Onion will tell you that this is one of their favorite lures and an incredible catching machine!

As this Big Onion is strictly in wood and not painted, the pattern of the wood give it its looks, and as it is with wood and patterns, there is never one exactly like it.

This lure suits beginners and pro’s!
All leadertypes applicable. We advise jerkbaitleader and a splitring or titanium leader.
Delivered without hooks. Hook advice 1/0-2/0.

The price of the Big Onions varies depending of the type of wood used. The 2 Big Onions in the video below are executed in rare and more expensive Spalted Beech wood. The design of the nerves in the wood give these Big Onions a more exclusive outlook and unique character. Click on the video to see them fully:
